Our Doctors

Dr. William Brown has been practicing dentistry in Greenville for almost 30 years. He graduated from Bob Jones University in 1984 and completed four years of dental school at West Virginia School of Dentistry. After getting his degree, he completed a two-year general practice residency at Wake Forest Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Brown is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, South Carolina Dental Association, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.

Dr. Kathryn Bowers joined Brown Family Dentistry Group in 2015. Originally from Salisbury, NC, she earned a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Biological Sciences from Clemson University before receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in Charleston. Dr. Bowers is passionate about cosmetic, restorative, and preventive care, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

I have been a proud native of Greenville all my life and have practiced dentistry in the area since 2018.  I have a newborn daughter with my wife Elizabeth; we also have two dogs and a cat.

We enjoy spending time with our family in the area as well as visiting the local mountains, and I enjoy golfing and hunting when time allows with a new little one. 

Dr. Jared grew up in Michigan, where he attended both college and dental school at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). After completing his studies, he traded the cold winters for the sunny skies of San Francisco, California, where he earned his orthodontic specialty training. During his residency, Dr. Jared’s skill and precision earned him national recognition as the winner of an Invisalign® case competition, showcasing his talent for designing beautiful smiles and achieving perfect bites with both braces and clear aligners for patients of all ages.
